this is when you are running on your idle circuits- the easiest to clog and give you hesitation as you vroom off. Try some doses of fuel cleaner- you might get lucky.

          Exactly how were they "cleaned"?

If you just dropped the float bowls and spritzed around some carb cleaner, you just wasted some carb cleaner.

They need the full "strip and dip" treatment, along with a new set of o-rings. Then, when they are REALLY clean, a bit of simple adjustment will take away that "cold-blooded" attitude. Start with a valve adjustment, then do a carb sync and adjust the pilot mixture.

When you are done with these simple items, you will think your bike just dropped about 34 years off its age.

Instead of the old "strip and dip" method, put them through an ultrasonic cleaning after disassembly. No messy chemicals, much better cleaning and better for the environment.

They were stripped and cleaned by a professional so I'm told, does it have to with air mixture screw possibly , also thanks in advance for help!Brian

I wouldn't accept what a seller tells me about maintenance items, unless it's something that I can visually verify. Sellers have been known to tell little white lies...

I know many "professionals" that don't do the job correctly.

"Professional" does not necessarily mean they are good at it, only that they get paid for it.

Nastyjones is somewhat local for you. Send the carbs to him, he'll do a fine job.
