Any experience with these VM gaskets?
Seen these http://www.ebay.ca/itm/161751012064?...%3AMEBIDX%3AIT And it seems like a good deal to me.If the description is believed they might even be better than OEM So what does the GSR hivemind think?Tags: None

Bowl gskets dont take much pressure to seal. Youll probably be fine.MY BIKES..1977 GS 750 B, 1978 GS 1000 C (X2)
1978 GS 1000 E, 1979 GS 1000 S, 1973 Yamaha TX 750, 1977 Kawasaki KZ 650B1, 1975 Honda GL1000 Goldwing, 1983 CB 650SC Nighthawk, 1972 Honda CB 350K4, 74 Honda CB550
NEVER SNEAK UP ON A SLEEPING DOG..NOT EVEN YOUR OWN.
I would rather trust my bike to a "QUACK" that KNOWS how to fix it rather than a book worm that THINKS HE KNOWS how to fix it.

Thanks for the feedback.Thought they'd be better than the homemade I have in one of the 1000's now.The rest can use replacing to so for $23CAD +free shipping I'll be getting them

Well like everything with the 1000 it took longer than expected but they where finally in the mail today. You can keep your Cornflakes box gaskets and even new OEM ones as these are that nice.If you need new VM gaskets I HIGHLY recommend these

Going to have to change my mind on these ones, I had it on the workbench overnight and look at how it has shrunk compared to the new fiber one behind it. No good if you are taking carbs apart and intending to reuse these gaskets. I'll stick with fiber for now.
