Looks like '77-'80 and '81/'82 are the only differences so it should fit.
I would contact MAC to be sure. http://www.shop.macperformance.com/GS-550_c161.htm

You have a 550E and Z is the year code for 1982. So the regular old GS550. Been looking in the parts diagrams, they don't show a 550E for 1882, just a 550M Katana or the 550L. Something isn't right here. Either way the engine is the same as the earlier 550s I believe, the later engine with the siamese carburetors came later. The header would fit the head, maybe need to make a bracket or something for the back of the pipe.

Can you post a picture of your bike so we know what we're talking about?

Are you outside the USA? The US did not get a 1982 GS550 that looked like that.

The paint job says Canada, Europe, or Australia.

So to answer your question, yes, any pipe for the 1978-1982 GS550 will fit your bike. As was already mentioned, the rear bracket might take a bit of fabbing to get a perfect fit.

Marving, Predator and Motad all do a 4 -1 for your bike (but all in either chrome or stainless and not black -though Marving might do a special order). Motad no longer make theirs but still have some stock I believe. Delkevic don't list one for your bike but they've started making more pipes for older bikes and they might be worth contacting.

Now the exhaust has arrived, And its not a perfect fit.. The dimension of the headerpipes is 1 mm smaller than original. And the biggest problem is that the header doesnt fit, pipes that goes into the cylinders is to long, so the flange is in the air when the exhaust is pushed in max. So i would need to saw the pipes i guess.. Weird that ot doesnt fit..

Maybe there are gaskets still in place in the ports?
                            A photo would help.

Don't saw until you post up some good high resolution images of what's going on. Upload photos to photobucket or similar and then link the IMG code in your post so the photos show up in high resolution.

The cylinder head for the 550 didn't change over the years other than the intake port size when they went to CV carbs. There is no reason I can think of that the pipe shouldn't fit to the head.
