    GS1000 exhaust - GS750

Just wondering if the headers of a 79 gs1000 will fit into a 77 750. I've read that the where the muffler connects might not line up. But does the header fit? Thanks guys

The pipes might fit into the ports, but the bolts that hold the collars in place have a different spacing. Might have to slot the holes in the collars.

I say yes... I had 16V GS1100 Pipes that fit on my 16V 750 AND my 8V 750... I'm pretty sure they all use the same brackets and spacing...If I recall the 750, 850, 1000 and 1100 all have the same exhaust outlet spacing... Not 100% sure but it's damn near close enough and worked for me...

      My 2 cents...

        Thanks guys.

Does anyone know about the year? For example will an 82 750 fit on a 77?

IIRC the 1000 engine is lighter and not as tall as the 750,
