1983 GS1100E carb bowl breather question
I see there are supposed to be two carb bowl breather hoses, is that correct? What if anything happens if only one is installed? When installing is there a proper way to point them? If one hose is missing would one encounter weird running conditions at say, half throttle or full throttle? I have access to the carbs now that the air filter portion of the airbox is removed, I want to make sure all hoses are correct and routed correctly and to address any potential quirks before installing wiring harness and assorted components. Thanks.1984 GS1150ES (finally arrived, more to come...)

How can I be in two places at once when i'm not anywhere at all?
Can I double park in a parallel universe?Tags: None

They do vent the bowls and they also keep water ( like rain or the hose ) from being directly dripped down the vents into the bowls. It will run just fine as long as water doesnt get down the nipples. Carbs need venting to atmospheric pressure as the floats go up and down to equalize out.MY BIKES..1977 GS 750 B, 1978 GS 1000 C (X2)

I would rather trust my bike to a "QUACK" that KNOWS how to fix it rather than a book worm that THINKS HE KNOWS how to fix it.
