petrol coming out of carb inlet (airbox - carb) connector

    This is why I hang out in tbe Vortex.

    Fuel flows when bike is not running: petcock.
    Floats aren't holding back head pressure: needle valve and or seat.

    Those are the only two variables in the equation.

          It would appear that you are more interested in standing on some principle, than getting your bike to run correctly.

          I see you did mention your peers, yes... ask them.
