    Throw me a number..

Currently I am thinking on a MAC exhaust. Definitely not in stone. The carburetors are yet to be rebuilt and I have two kits for parts only if needed. I will check the jet size next time I'm down at the Shop. Believe I have 115 main jets in the bike now.

So,GSX400E, 1982, stock air box. Elevation is 525 feet. Any size jet to start with? I have read numerous threads to no avail. TIA.

Stock jets will probably be fine, or maybe a half size or one size bigger mains. MACs don't flow much if any more air than the stock pipes.

Life is too short to ride an L.

Thanks Tom. As we know it's best to use the original parts if possible. I did pick up a couple of kits out of Poland that appear to be good quality. I'll check the sizes this weekend when I rebuild the MC.
