Co2 requirements for the EPA??
Anyone ever find information on what the EPA set for Co2 emission tolerances back in the 70s when our bikes were made?? Was wondering because Stahlgrau333 just got ahold of a SUN analyzer. The old school ones like when we had to get our cars emissions tested every year..big thing about the size of a dresser. Would be cool to know what the sniffer numbers should be and see if the machine can tell us what our bikes are belching out the pipes. Its this machine..

I would rather trust my bike to a "QUACK" that KNOWS how to fix it rather than a book worm that THINKS HE KNOWS how to fix it.Tags: None

The emissions need to be tested with the bike under load. Rollers are typically used.Ed
To measure is to know.

Agree except as I remember there is also an "at idle" CO and CO2 spec. Just don't know what those numbers are. Maybe "google" would be your friend.
