First, tell us what bike! Second, tell us how long you have had it and what maintenance you have lavished on it.

Sticking float, wrong float level, worn needle valve or o ring hardened / shrunk/ missing on the float valve seat. Check which carb is the culprit by pulling the air filter out and seeing which airbox to carb hose is wet.

How were the carbs cleaned? Were they properly and fully disassembled and dipped for 24 hours each or did you just spray carb cleaner at the holes? Did you replace the orings and measure the floats when you put them back together?

When I got the bike did not run. Took to a shop he said cleaned carbs got running. But he took forever to get hike back almost two months. Ran ok for awhile. But had idle issues. Started to race above 3000rpm when adjusted idle screw back would not idle load up and stop. Through gsresources used a procedure to adjust fuel air mixture stews. Got to idle ok run down road. Not to long later gas leak as dis robed started.

Ok took cover off filter box. Put petcock in prime position. Could see was number one carb leaking. Tryed simple fix first. Took screw out bottom of carb bowl. Let gas run while tapping on carb. Put back together. As of now no more leak. Hopefully got lucky. Thanks for all the advise.

Sounds like rust/debris in the tank has fouled the float needle.

Sounds like it's time to clean the carbs (correctly), too.
