Which carbs do i have

Started doing my carbs on my 1981 GS 850 GL , they only markings on them is the word KOGYO, ive been looking for a number cant find any,or is there a number ?

Should be Mikuni BS series, otherwise known as CV carbs.

You should have Mikuni BS32SS carbs. There is a number that imprinted on the side of each carb body on the side near the top. It will look like very faint black lettering and may be unreadable depending on how much corrosion you have on them. Yours should say 45xxx with xxx being some number. The number basically defines the configuration (jetting, enrichment jet size, throttle plate size and such).
