    Fuel Tank+Carb Re-connection-- Diagrams?

Hello hello all, welcome to the hair pulling quest that is my adventure put my baby back together.

My '86 GS450L is in pieces- I was cleaning her up and took apart the tank, petcock and carbs but now I can't figure out for the life of me where the lines run into one another. Im too the point where really my only question is this: on the underside of the tank there is the petcock, the overflow vent, the gauge wirings and then a tiny little nipple that has nothing connected to it...what does that little guy go to? I was assuming that he'll hook up to the "T" hose that is connecting my two carbs together, but seeing as all of this is sort of a guess, I don't really know if any of my assumptions are right

Are there any diagrams/videos/walkthrus that are clearly and not so painful to look at like the exploded parts diagrams?
Is there a simple step by step of attaching the three (carb-tank-petcock) together?

Any and all guidance is appreciated!
This girl has got to get back on her bike!

    much love
    assyla

Big nipple on petcock (fuel line) goes to the T.

Small nipple on petcock (vacuum hose) goes to the nipple on the back of carb that faces the engine. It swivels and is usually on the left carb (same side as petcock). Its right next to the choke lever.

The cover over the top of the fuel gauge sending unit is a safety device; if the sending unit leaks the cover catches the gas and sends it down a line attached to the nipple. You need a long piece of fuel line that's routed down behind the engine, but away from the rear tire.
