    sources for VM carb holders

In tracking down my lean condition, I pulled the carbs off this week and noticed some cracks in the carb boots. I either didn't have the cracks when I put everything together this May or simply didn't notice. I'll post some pics when I get home today. They're not too bad but I have to replace them and I think there are two choices: OEM and aftermarket from JBM. The JBM parts cost $95 + $8 shipping while the OEM ones are $130 shipped from Parts Outlaw. I'm inclined to spend the extra $25 for OEM but was wondering if there are any other aftermarket manufacturers I should consider.

    Thanks!

I would rather trust my bike to a "QUACK" that KNOWS how to fix it rather than a book worm that THINKS HE KNOWS how to fix it.

Chuck, those were the aftermarket parts I saw. I ordered the holders from Parts Outlaw for $127 with discounted shipping.

I'm planning to resync after I install the new carb holders. Hoping this will take me through the rest of the season.
