Stock everything as far as I know. The main jets are 102.5 and the needles on the bottom are around 3/4 out. I lined them up with the notch on the carb body and that's where it runs the over all best. The air screws started out at 1.5 out and after a few test rides and adjusting for best idle they are off that a little but within a 1/4 turn in or out. The airbox is sealed the best I can get it but running an old filter... That's one of my next steps along with points. The exhaust has a few cracks in it but nothing serious except for the baffle In the end of one if rotted out. My plan for the exhaust is to get it running with what I have and do a straight pipe with muffler insert I found online. I know it will go fast because one night after playing with the timing it started stumbling in third till it got up in rpms and took off like a rocket easily running 95mph. But since then it will loose power at 70 in 4th and have to wind it out in third just to stay there and not get run over. The bike has never seen fifth gear except on the center stand in the front yard. Idling when warmed up is nice and smooth with only a pop every now and then out the exhaust but warm up is a pain till the when it's cold. good throttle through 1 and 2 gear but no speed demon. My Suzuki s40 (650 single cylinder) had more get up and go and top speed then this oneLast edited by Guest; 11-07-2016, 01:51 AM.

So I've noticed I may have an air leak around the air box boots... Is there a way to seal these up better... They are still fairly soft and arnt cracked at all but just seem loose in the holes in the air box... It looks like some silicone was put on it at some point but I was hoping for something a little better before shelling out 70 something for new ones
