Ebay auction - did I overpay?

Stock exhaust for 1983 GS1100,$155+ $35 shipping. Lack of other bidders makes me think that his asking price was too high ;-) Too late now, anyway. My bike came only with 4in1 exhaust and missing centre stand.

For what they are and being black chrome...somewhat...you definitely didnt overpay.

$155 is a fine price, and $35 shipping? Is that part right? If so that's dirt cheap for shipping.

I don't think you did. Plus, if you bid on them, you were comfortable with the price.

Sometimes you just get lucky and nobody bids. I don't know what they are really worth, but its what you wanted at a price you were willing to pay... so it sounds like a good deal to me. :-)

Clean them with some scratch remover such ScratchX 2.0. DO NOT use aluminum foil, green dish scrubbies, steel wool or anything else aggressively abrasive.

'83 black exhaust is one year only and like hen's teeth. Had I seen those I would have paid 3X that.....

Not a bad price on the pipes, but a GREAT DEAL on the shipping.

That is a great price. A scrap metal dealer stole mine off my back deck early one morning. Cost me that to have one side shipped from London On. and then a few hundred more to put the rest of it together.
