    choke cable issues

I've recently put my bike back together and one thing I noticed is that the choke cable is dislodging from the housing on the handlebar. Any advice on how to fix this?

    Thanks.

There is a screw up the middle that holds it all together.

If it does not maintain tension, try using some BLUE Loc-Tite.

There's an adjustment at the carbs to take up some slack in the cable. It's located at the top of the 90 degree metal tube that the cable runs through.

The plastic stop inside the housing might be damaged and not holding the cable end in position. Open up and check. Lots of used switches on ebay usually .

I've got the bike back together. It starts and runs which is amazing, but is leaking gas from the carbs and I can hear a bad tapping sound.
My old thread is live again and I'm posting my progress, if you have any suggestions
