The top picture is the stuff foaming up and the bottom picture is the area wiped clean. I just did the little recess that traps the float hinge pin so as not to inadvertently ruin the entire bowl. The pin area was the same crud as the rest of the bowl so Im saying the stuff did a pretty amazing job. Now I know 30 minutes is a baseline time that cleaned but didnt eat anything.MY BIKES..1977 GS 750 B, 1978 GS 1000 C (X2)

The question is, can you get that foam to the right place in the carb body and how does it react to brass?
Again, curious as to why you haven't tried the old "pro" formula of the Berryman(p/n: 901)?http://img633.imageshack.us/img633/811/douMvs.jpg

Its a liquid and it foams as it sits. A gentle drizzle down the holes should allow it to flow thru and get to any obstructions and unloosened scale inside. I will be doing the carb this weekend. when i have time to keep very close watch on the situation.
If you spray the stuff like you normally would when spraying down a rim then its more like half liquid and half foam tht comes out. Ever so gently squeezing the trigger just makes drops come out that rent foamy at all.
Berrymans...isnt the stuff in the gallon can with basket the same crap?????? It hasnt failed on any other carbs, but this one is just plain clogged with something more than the Berrymans handled. The other 3 carbs are perfect and they went in the same sauce...so I fail to see why everyone questioning the Berrymans here.MY BIKES..1977 GS 750 B, 1978 GS 1000 C (X2)

Based on the condition of the bowl I tried the Mag Wheel juice on, I think its gonna do the trick. I can also use the propane torch to heat the area of the carb that the feeder passge is at prior to the juice. That may help crack the blockage too and then allow the juice to finish it off i guess.MY BIKES..1977 GS 750 B, 1978 GS 1000 C (X2)

There is also the "California" formula. Although it's not mandatory in California so I'm not sure why they make it. The run of the mill formula is pretty strong regardless. It will eat the zinc plating right off the steel parts which sucks when doing motorcycle carbs with the throttle shafts still installed. I just ordered an ultrasonic cleaner off ebay to avoid this. The strongest carb dip I've ever used was branded "Mckays". That stuff stunk to high heaven but it sure could clean carbs...and driveways. I used to use it to remove black grease stains off concrete and it was the only stuff I found that would do that and get the concrete properly clean.Ed

UPDATE::
The Eagle One cleared the carb. Now all 4 have a good strong and equal spray coming out the tiny hole. I even redipped the pilot jets in it. Sprayed it in all the bowls and on the bottom of the bodies and scrubbed with a toothbrush and steel wool. rinsed everything with water, carb spray, and lots of air.
The result is the bike sat outside with a fan on it for 45 minutes and idled without a stumble. Now its time for my feet to thaw out!!!!MY BIKES..1977 GS 750 B, 1978 GS 1000 C (X2)

I gave it an hour total soak time. Waited 15 minutes and put the nozzle up to the pilot jet hole and pumped it full again. Im a believer for sure.MY BIKES..1977 GS 750 B, 1978 GS 1000 C (X2)

Word of caution about using the Eagle One Mag Cleaner. It will darken your carbs quite a bit. I just used some on some badly corroded carbs. It did remove the corrosion but also left the carbs significantly darker then stock. Just pointing it out so someone doesn't find out the hard way.http://img633.imageshack.us/img633/811/douMvs.jpg
