    Random hose on carbs?

On my Mikuni VM22SS carbs there is a vacuum home from carb 2 to 4. I cant seem to find this on any diagram or pictures, should I just remove it? See picture for more detail. IMG_20170203_130736.jpg

Take the hose of one nipple and get another hose the same length and fit to the other nipple; they're vent lines and the ends should just dangle over the back of the airbox in the fresh air.

The vacuum hose that crosses over from one side to the other is not supposed to be connecting the vacuum ports together. Each of those vacuum ports are supposed to be vented to air and are usually connected to separate hoses that end up being draped over the top of the air box.
