    Exhausting my Options for a 1981 GS650E

I'm looking for a stock Exhaust for a 1981 GS650E, I've found a set on ebay for a GS650GL which have a different part number than the E model but does anyone know if they'll fit without too much work.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    David.

I'll take a wild guess and say the exhaust port spacing is different on the shafty versions of the 650 compared to chain E. In any event, a used ebay exhaust is an iffy proposition.

Thanks Rich, certainly not perfect but seems pretty nice for the money, I have sent an offer to them, hopefully hear back shortly and Greg, I'll have it shipped to my US mailbox so no issues with being in Canada eh.

Not my first exhaust I've bought without seeing it first, photos have a way of making things look better than they actually are.

I got the pipes ordered, I really appreciate the help and advice offered here, Rich thanks for the link, sometimes I'm reluctant to ask for help but GSR has delivered once again.

                Thank you.

Those pipes are a SCORE for sure. Great find!

One huge advantage of staying stock is you don't have to sweat jetting issues. If the bike doesn't run right you know what the problem is not.
