For 1) it only had 3, and For 2) they were interfering with the floats resting on the needle.. Ill check that tomorrow along with the adjusti ng tab!!!!!! Your a genius thank you
Also for the sake of not making a mistake... are these upside down?

Also i submerged them for a few minutes and really tried shaking then in all directions for a while and couldn't hear a thing. And basically its like.. fuel on, 3 seconds, carbs shooting fuel everywhere. Its deff. Like the needles are stuck

Cant tell from that picture. Just look at the brass flat hinge the pin goes thru and look for a little tab bent at a 90 degree angle and thats in line with the post. And seeing that those are composite floats in the picture you certainly do not have weighted down floats.

Heres the tab. If you dont see that they are most likely upside down. Set the tab so the needles move smoothly. The tab in the center is tweeked up or down to set the float hts.

Ok so..... i set the float opening tab ... re installed the 3 circlips that hold the needle in place and... nothing.. ran out the tubes like before.... i think i may raise the floats to an extreme ammount to see if it will **** the fuel flow off. Any other tests you think i could try?

You're measuring the float height at the wrong location. The 22.4mm height is measured at the base of the step. Not the top.

Is the center of the circle, where there is a step that goes down to the start of the round part, the place to measure?

Yes, that's where you measure the float height.

You got it. From the base of the float gasket (no gasket in place) to the flat area of the step.

Ok so.. adjusted these to 22.4mm i was in a bit of a hurry so ill take pics tomorrow... i hooked it all back up, and seemed good on the resevior.. than soon as the bike started running it started pouring out the same port and out the main air intake whole (the big one).. when i installed the little float needle retainers... it looked to me like they block the float tab from pressing the needle all the way... tomorrow im going to pull em off again and then try it all over and doubke check all my measurements and send you beautiful people some pictures

Post a pic of your setup. Also, if the needles are collapsed then they will touch the retainer first. Remove the retainers. They're not really needed.

I didnt think they were.. i bought new needles but the plunger or spring inside feels weak to me, the pld pnes seem a little stiffer.. ill try new needles/old needles with no retainers tomorrow and take a picture of where im measuring, should be around 2 o clock tomorrow. Thanks again
