Carb. rebuild parts for 81 GS 450

Hey everyone, I'm a new guy here. My son and I bought a 81 GS450 for a whole 150 dollars. Its all there and will start but will not take gas. I have been looking for carb. rebuild kits but the closest I have found goes up to a 1978. It looks like the right kit but hard to tell from the picture. (Keyster Carb Kit). I have found the parts individually but I would like to find a kit. Anybody know where to find a kit? Thanks Mojo

You found the forum. Welcome! Now don't forget to search within the forum. Do so and you will very quickly learn that aftermarket carb kits SUCK. Stay clear. Get new O-rings from cycleorings.com and maybe some float bowl gaskets, and reuse all your other parts.

Check out basscliff's website and look up the 450 carb rebuild tutorial. Also feel free to check out the tutorial in my signature. A lot of the same elements crossover.

    Good luck
    Ed

I got my carb kits from Z1 Enterprises a few years ago. Just ended up using the float bowl gaskets only. Cleaned up everything else and my bike has been running with no issues.
