    Petcock question

Hi all, I did use the search function first but apologies if this is a duplicate question.

I have an '82 GSX1100EZ and recently pulled the carbs out to clean them as well as giving the tank a flush. After putting it back together the vacuum petcock appears to not be working at all as when I turn it to prime no fuel flows. The lever had been increasingly hard to turn leading up to this. Has anyone else had this problems problem? I'm thinking buying a new one is the simplest option.
    thank you :-)

I have had this and it was due to putting the new kit in wrong.
How I managed that I don't know. Spring on the wrong side I think.
A long shot perhaps but worth a look.

Yes, just buy a new one and be done with it. It has given it's all for 35 years, time to send it to pasture.

Just replaced mine , which was near impossible to turn lever. Purchase from this ebay store for 45 bucks. He was recommended from others on this site. Less expensive from his ebay store v/s web site. http://stores.ebay.com/GEORGEFIXS-MO...=p4634.c0.m322
