Bike bogging down after carb cleaning
I have a suzuki gs 750t 82. I recently had a friend clean the carbs. Since then whenever I'm cruising at 40 mph and up it will intermittently feel like I'm drag/ bog down. I pulled the plugs, they are fouled. I have new ones in the mail. What would cause the fouling, would the plugs be the culprit for my issue?Tags: None

maybe he left out rubber plugs over the pilot jets in fuel bowls.

All he did was screw up your carbs. Probably just forced the dirt in deeper using the carb spray alone. Do a proper rebuild per the tutorial and be done with it:

Darn, with so many daily riders it's hard to decide which one to jump on next.;)

If it was a carb "spray" cleaning, then I agree with Julius.
If it was a comprehensive cleaning (i.e. a full strip and dip) then I think it would still be prudent to pull the carbs and have a look to see what is going on.
The symptoms sound like something may not have seated properly when put back together. I had something similar happen once with brand new pilot jet plugs where two of four came out after a single day inside the carbs, the result was similar to what you have described.'83 GS650G
