Needle in a haystack
Cleaning the carbs on my 750E today, and I managed to lose the needle out of my #3 carb needle valve. I see several places online that sell just the needles, but places that actually display parts diagrams show the needle and seat as a unit.

I would think that would be okay. Also, if you post in the Parts Wanted, I'm sure someone has a needle1983 GS 1100 Guided Laser
1983 GS 1100 G
2000 Suzuki Intruder 1500, "Piggy Sue"
2000 GSF 1200 Bandit (totaled in deer strike)
1986 Suzuki Cavalcade GV 1400 LX (SOLD)
I find working on my motorcycle mildly therapeutic when I'm not cursing.

I would recommend getting the Suzuki seat and needle. There is no telling how much wear there was and they both wear together. Before you buy something though, that needle went somewhere. A big magnet might find it.http://www.thegsresources.com/_forum...ine=1440711157'78 GS1000E, Dyna-S ignition, Dyna Green Coils, K&N pods, Delkevic SS 4-1 exhaust, Dynojet Stage 3 jet kit, Russell SS Brake Lines, Progressive suspension, Compu-Fire series Regulator 55402 and Advmonster cree LED headlight conversion.

Thanks folks. I went ahead and bought the matched needle and seat from Babbitt's. The price wasn't too bad.

I have a new needle & seat on the way, so I'll probably just wait for them before I start putting it back together.
