    rs38 mikuni spring, bearing.

I finally bought some rs38 flat slides for my 1229 CC build. When I took them apart they seemed similar enough to most other carburetors that I've built that I wasn't worried about losing track of anything. Then the starter spring and bearing rolled out of someplace. Can anyone direct me on where to put this back?

Hate to respond to my own thread but I have figured out my first question but I have another. The spring and ball apparently go behind the choke rod on the number one carb.

Seems the air inlets that have jets screwed into them on the intake side of my RS's have had a hoe down over the years. One inlet is the pilot circuit and the other is directed to the main. On three of my carburetors the pilot has a jet nozzle and the main inlet has a plug that looks like a jet but isn't. On the number two carburetor the situation is opposite. Should I fix my number two inlets to match the rest?
