Broken Fuel Screw removal

Hi there,

I have a 1977 GS750, and i've been trying to remove broken fuel screw tips without success. Two of them came out no issue, and yet the other two are very much still stuck, to the point i've started to mar up the carb body trying to punch them out.

What's the next thing to try? I was thinking of drilling them out, but i don't want to ruin the threads or the carb where the fuel screw goes. If in the case that is the best option, what size drill bit?

Anything else I should try?

Is the screw stuck or just the tip broken off in the body? Assuming it's just the tip you need to use a pointed tool and push the tip backwards from inside the carb throat. If you don't have the proper tool with a pointy tip, make one.

Just the tip. That's where I'm having an issue. I found the smallest diameter punch lowes sells, chucked it up in a drill and then used the angle grinder to make it into a point, and using that still isnt' working.

Maybe try some PB Blaster and a torch to break down the corrosion?
