Airbox to carb boots..GS 1000
Im about 99.9% sure these will fit the 78 1000C Im rebuilding but the "vehicles it fits" list goes as late as 1980 and doesnt list any 78 models. I once read that the 77 and 78 750 boots were the same also..can anyone confirm if the Ebay ones are correct?? Can anyone thats used the ones listed in the parts fiche for the 750s confirm the fitment???
MY BIKES..1977 GS 750 B, 1978 GS 1000 C (X2)

I would rather trust my bike to a "QUACK" that KNOWS how to fix it rather than a book worm that THINKS HE KNOWS how to fix it.Tags: None

Chuck, IIRC, when I purchased new ones for my 79 1000E, I got them from Z1 and they were supposed to be fitted to a 750. Apparently the same carbs and I had no problems with them.Larry

Yeah..didnt consider the whole VM versus CV throat diameters being different. So that being ruled out..since the 79 850 had VM carbs i found these from Japan....anyone see anything that would eliminate these as candidates??? I mean for $21.00 a set its surely more affordable.
