Also I heard thru the grapevine that some members would rebuild my carbs for a good price(one guy wants 560 plus shipping and another wants 50 a carb) lol any help would be appreciated I'm trying to build my dream bike but on a budget.

Well you can redo them yourself for around 90 bucks or so with new orings and new bowl gaskets. Im gonna ost a list of links so check them out.
Be sure to refresh the intake manifold orings as shwon on page 3 of Cycleorings website. Measure the INSIDE diameter of the oring groove but I thin k yours will be 38MM. Look in the menu at Bikecliff for a service manual.MY BIKES..1977 GS 750 B, 1978 GS 1000 C (X2)
1978 GS 1000 E, 1979 GS 1000 S, 1973 Yamaha TX 750, 1977 Kawasaki KZ 650B1, 1975 Honda GL1000 Goldwing, 1983 CB 650SC Nighthawk, 1972 Honda CB 350K4, 74 Honda CB550
NEVER SNEAK UP ON A SLEEPING DOG..NOT EVEN YOUR OWN.
I would rather trust my bike to a "QUACK" that KNOWS how to fix it rather than a book worm that THINKS HE KNOWS how to fix it.

Need a little more information about your pipe and pods.
Knowing that it's a "4 into 1" is great, but what happens after the collector? Megaphone with street baffle? Megaphone with competition baffle? No baffle? (Shame on you. ) Those choices will affect air flow, therefore, jetting requirements.
As far as "pods", are they the cheap EMGO pods that cost about $25? UNI (foam) pods? APE pods? K&N pods? Again, these choices affect air flow, and to a greater degree than exhaust choice.
There are many members of the forum that have had Chuck rebuild their carbs and are very happy with his work. I also do carbs, but not so much with the VM carbs like yours. I recommend Chuck for your rebuild.

Thanks for the endorsement Steve. I try to be as helpful as I can. I always recommend doing them yourself so the new guys can learn a new skill. However if my service is needed I am here.MY BIKES..1977 GS 750 B, 1978 GS 1000 C (X2)
