I may have to get one of these. The slip on is going on, some how.

Tried the pipe expansion tool and it only helped a little. Also tied heating the slip on, nothing. Ended up just slotting the rear exhaust hanger on the slip on and then bolted things up. Haven't had a chance to run it yet.

Question: How many disks do I use for a stock 83 1100ED? Even has the stock air box and filter, and stock carb jets. I installed 5 disks as a place to start and it comes with 10 disks.

Another Question: The slip on hose clamp is too small for some reason. Where does one get a 2.5 inch quality hose clamp to seal the slip on?

Its probably just me, but theres something about the pitch or tone of the Supertrapps that wear on me after a little while. Ive got one on my GS and one on an ATV (its a CT Racing exhaust-but its a Supertrapp clone). If I take enough discs out to get the sound tolerable to me, they motor runs rich and sluggish. However, I did find a solution in case the sound bothers anyone else: http://ctracing.net/site/atv-exhaust-turn-down-end-cap/ I had to grind a little of the edges for it to fit correctly but the sound is great and the tone is deeper, and it looks pretty good.

Finally finished getting the SuperTrapp installed. Looks nice and sounds good. I'm still not sure how many disks it should have for a stock setup, per my questions above.
