GS700ES carb replacement
This is a serious resurrection project, and the old Mikuni 32mm carbs and in really bad shape. Can anyone tell me if new RS34-D21 flat sides might be a good fit for a 1985 GS700ES? I can't even get all the parts I need for these old carbs, and factor in time and energy, I can get a set of new RS34's for about $800. Anyone at all? I could really use some advice here, whatever you got. Thanks in advance...IMG_20171102_153204_052.jpgTags: None

What's wrong with your existing carbs. There are several guys around here that rebuild carbs and most of them have spare parts too.Ed
To measure is to know.

Please define "bad shape". If they have not been run over by a truck or stored on the Titanic, they will likely work quite well.
Send some pictures to my e-mail (click on my username for info), I'll let you know if they are rebuildable.
I only suggest e-mail for pictures because it's the easiest way to show pictures, now that Photobucket has thrown everybody for a loop.
