GS550E Airbox Boots for VM carbs

Has anyone found a reliable source for VM carburetor airbox boots for the GS550? I can't seem to find any for this and the xylene and Wintergreen trick didn't soften up the boots as much as I had hoped. I'm hoping I'm just a moron and can't find the parts because I'm using the wrong words. Looking for New Old Stock or new aftermarket.

I think the term New Original Stock gets misused around here. You prefer something that's been sitting on the shelf for decades over something Suzuki made last month? When it comes to rubber bits, newer seems far better.

Ok so I just looked at the 550 parts diagram and don't see a part number listed for the airbox to carb boots. If NOS is available, aren't new OEM available as well?

Sure - if they are still made. A new unit sealed in a plastic bag for 40 yrs will still be better than one soaked in gas fumes and UV rays for the same timeline.

OEM, NOS, or aftermarket. I dont see a part number and I'm not clear if the 80's CV carbs used the same airbox boots.

Boots are part of the airbox and not offered separate. Not sure if they would fit but the 750 carb boots are available by themselves.

Anybody know the inlet diameter of the 750 vm carb? I could probably just mold and cast the ones I have. Done some of that before. Not any cheaper even for DIY though.
