    Intake manifold installation

    On my 1977gs750, i had my intake manifoldsoff to replace the orings and it seems like I installed them incorrectly because I can't get the carb set to seat. I think I had them numbered and reinstalled same place but is there a way to know which side goes up? I couldn't find anything,g in the manual.. Ill check partzilla to see if there is different part numbers for the manifolds...

    It is not real clear on the parts fiche, but they appear to be the same as my 850.

    If you have a carb sync port on the tube, it goes down and to the outside of the engine.

    There are two identical "left" tubes and two identical "right" tubes, so actual numbers don't matter.

      [Thanks, when I went back to it. The carbs went home as if the manifolds had to be stretched a little (o had a ratchet strap on the to force then in)

        Most have a marking that goes on top, and if a sync port is part of the boot, it faces out:
