    Air box parts

I will need part #2, #18, and #25 for an air box. Where does #18 connect, it looks like #18 and #2 would let dirt get in the carbs? What does #25 do?Please advise, thanks

Those are rubber tubes that allow air to flow from the top and bottom. There's a clamp that holds them in-place onto the Airbox and then the hose basically is running next to the frame at the top and bottom. The tubes on mine hang freely but look as they molded themselves onto the frame.

I see #18 goes to a port on the head. It looks like #2 (the drain hose) would let in dirty air. Am I missing something?

Thanks Ed, I think I have it figured out. I hope the original air box is better than paper pods.

Because every bike model/year is slightly different, would you please create a signature that includes your year and model? It doesn't need to be fancy but it will allow folks to help you out easily and you won't have to remember to tell us every time you ask something
