A couple drops of oil appear to be leaking from exhast tail pipe when sitting

1982 GS1100 with vance and hines 4 into one and Dynojet stage 3 kit, that all had been done before i bought it. Bike used to have like one of those fiberglass cloth wraps around the exhaust baffle to make it a little quieter and since taking that out it seems a little oil collects at the end of the tailpipe after each ride. Looks like the wrap had been absorbing some of it.

At first i thought it was any soot in the pipe so i tried to clean it real good but it still seems to be going on. Its not much like maybe a couple drops worth. Usually on a car this means bad piston rings right?

Thank you in advance to all the good people of the forum, you all have helped me out before. Also on a side note i just got my buddy to buy his first bike (79 gs850g) and while i help him out i also told him the gs resources will be his new best friend lol.

When running does it emit blue smoke, if the oil is coming via the cylinder you would expect that maybe be worn valve guides/seals, worn piston rings blocked crankcase breather.
If the engine burns oil how much per 1000 miles?

Negative on the blue smoke, I'll start it again today to be sure but it seems like its white ish smoke that comes out in a little puff when first starting up, kinda like its burning off the little bIt thats collected in the pipe, that clears up in like 10 seconds or so after starting, after that i notice just a tinge of white/grey smoke coming out, like almost not visible unless your really looking down at it for that sort of thing, still like white, grey ish, freaking smoke color i dunno lol.

Its hard to tell how much oil is coming out after a set amount of time. It doesnt seem to be doing it enough to actually drip out of the pipe when the bike is running, it will spit out a few drops of oil on first start though like, the bit of oil that has collected at the end of the tailpipe. It seems like when i come wipe it with a rag and come back the next day another drop or so has collected back at the lip of the pipe. But, it doesnt seem to drip continuously, like say if i left it to sit for a week, it would have the same amount of oil sitting in the pipe, there wouldn't be like a little pool forming on the ground or anything.

Also ive never taken the top end off to look at the valves. The prior owner lived by the sea and alot of the allen bolts and other ****e like that are rusted to varying degrees and you know like me you can strip the threading and the bolts on these things just by looking at them wrong. If i gotta go in there i will but not without a healthy supply of PB Blaster lol

Here's the only area of concern.

I'd suggest: Set the valve clearances, perform routine maintenance, ride the bike another 10,000 miles, and just ignore the oil around that tailpipe.
and God said, "Let there be air compressors!"
