GS-750T Tank Reassembly - 2 hoses from petcock - confused
I have an all-original '82 GS-750T. I had a gas leak - not sure from where. I'm replacing fuel lines and petcock. Things have been sitting since last year due to weather. I'm am basically confused by the 2 hoses from the petcock. One goes to the carbs - I got that. Where does the other one go? I've searched and searched but don't see any place to connect the other hose. I can't find any diagram anywhere. I have a Clymer manual and says only "disconnect" and "connect" hoses without indicating where the 2nd hose goes.
Thanks for any help.Tags: None

Both go the carb. Bigger diameter one is fuel, toward the left (clutch) side of the bike. Smaller one toward the right side of the bike and angled up is vacuum. If you're not sure or someone else doesn't chime in with which one goes where on the carb, I'll take a pic of the top of my carbs when I get home today and post is to show where the vacuum and fuel lines attach to the carb, as well as the 2 carb vent lines.Rich

I found the 2 nipples and have the fuel and vacuum lines attached. The fuel coupling "T" seems very loose. I couldn't find it originally because it had swiveled down so I couldn't see the nipple.
I'm trying to figure out a gas leak. I hope it's not the "T" with the inlet nipple -- which seems very loose.
Thanks for the help.

The T fitting may be the source of your leak. Some say the fitting may swell and seal once there's gas in it. I don't know much when it comes to carbs. I had someone refurbish mine a few years ago. I wasn't confident enough to do it myself then. I may be now, after doing a lot more work on my bike in the last year.
There are a few "TZ" owners on here. there's a dedicated thread here: https://www.thegsresources.com/_foru...rall-(I-think)

Thanks Rich!
I was gonna post up the "T-Nation" thread for all the "T" owners.
Welcome DXVictor. Post a pic of your bike before you took the tank off...or when you get everything back together. lol
