Why did you buy new jets? All you had to do was to properly strip and dip each carb per the instructions found here at Basscliff's site (http://members.dslextreme.com/users/bikecliff) after order new o-rings from www.cycleorings.com.

    There is no starter jet

The "starter jet" is the tiny hole in the end of the pickup tube that sits in the corner of the float bowl. Not adjustable, not replaceable.

Probably a good choice, but please buy Mikuni jets, not just any other jet that claims to be the same size.

000 grade steel wool will polish jets so numbers can be clearly seen.
