"The bowl drains are M6 x 0.8. That is the standard "fine pitch" for M6."
I was assuming the drains were M6x0.75 due to another thread related to the plugs...need to confirm as I try sourcing some nipples. Nonetheless, if the adapters don't work there then so be it. Thanks again guys for everything!'78 GS750E (currently undergoing TLC).

OK, I have checked a drain plug. I did not get a picture, but my 0.75 gauge did not fit.
I'm having a bit of difficulty trying to match up a 0.8 gauge because Harbor Freight strikes again.

It IS 6 x 0.751981 GS750L - Owned since 1990 when graduated high school and since have been discovering all the things not disclosed by seller.
1983 GS750E - bought in 2016 as a rough runner to use while rebuilding 81L and then to combine with ES to make one good one
1983 GS750ES - bought in Toronto in 2015 on a lark as a non-runner, missing front cowling and exhaust - If you have a 1983 750ES front cowling let me know! Blue would be nice
