1980 GS1100E RS34 or RS36
Okay guys, I need some advice. My shop destroyed my stock carbs. My motor is stock with 37k miles, should I go with Mikuni RS 34 or 36? I would like to rebuild it after next year to an 1166. What would be the best carbs for my bike now and in the future? What are people's opinions on these two carbs on an 1100? Thank you! -NeilTags: None

My shop told me that a used set would cost around $300 and that they would try to find a set.
I gave them an offer that I would buy a set of RS36's and they can pay for $300 of it. The shop seemed a little hesitant to accept that offer and recommended a used stock set.
Now how is the best way to get them to bite at this offer?
