The Bandit 1250 throttle body to 34mm cv comparison.

The Bandit 650 has exactly the same throttle body except for blue coloured injectors.

I was able to replicate the gear position sensor by using a 93 GSXR1100 unit. It had exactly the same resistance readings and fitted my Kat motor and only had 5 speeds like mine.

I wanted to use as much of the Bandit EFI setup as possible, even if it meant reworking components.
            The fuel pump.

I adapted a Kawasaki 24-2 trigger wheel for the crank trigger as the bandit one on the alternator rotor. I did use the pickup.

The bandit trigger wheel is timed at TDC #1 cyl at 7 1/2 teeth after the gap.

                              Thanks Rich,
I should mention that the Kawa trigger wheel below is actually 24-1 when I was trialling the setup.
I eventually cut 1 tooth off once I was happy with the setup and made it 24-2.
                              Cheers Andrew.

Technical skill level: 10/10. Nice job!

I can't imagine what it took to reverse engineer a modern EFI system and apply it to another machine.
