Hi out there,<br>I am in the process of putting a 1978 GS550 db (uk spec) back together and need a set of four intake boots, (amongst loads of other parts!) My question is will the boots for a later machine fit the manifold as I have seen some earlier threads that seem to indicate different fixing points in the cylinder head.<br>Thanks

The only ones that will fit will be '79 and older. In '80, they went to BS32 CV-type carbs, which are bigger. You need the smaller boots for the VM carbs.
