    Wes Cooley exhaust

Does anyone know of any aftermarket replacement exhaust that is oem in look? Is there a way to have old mufflers refinished again? Does anyone have a complete set they would be willing to sell for a 1980 GS1000S

There are no aftermarket systems that looks OEM that I know of.

It's hard to find a company to refinish exhaust systems because the carbon and smut inside contaminate the plating bath.

The 1979 GS1000L system is very close to the 1980 1000S system. The brake pedal and shift lever indents are different though.

You need to find a radiator shop or some place with a big parts cleaner
Once cleaned, they can be rechromed

The 1980 S system is a one year, one model part. If you could find one in good shape, it's $$$$$$$$
