    GS1100X exhaust.

How much would an exhaust be? I have found in the garage a set of 1100X exhaust pipes that look fairly clean and my father told me they only have a couple thousand miles on them. I shined em up and they have some rust but nothing going through, just light surface stuff. Any idea how much they would be worth?

    Thank You.

Well, Razzman, that is a tricky question. To the casual collector (like me) I'd say the worth is about $200-250. To the person doing a back to stock restoration, the system could be worth $750-1000 The problem is, it is hard to find that restorer that needs a excellent set of pipes. Do a little advertising, you might find that guy. Good luck 👍 .... in my opinion
    My Motorcycles:
22 Kawasaki Z900 RS (Candy Tone Blue)
22 BMW K1600GT (Probably been to a town near you)
82 1100e Drag Bike (needs race engine)
81 1100e Street Bike (with race engine)
    79 1000e (all original)
    82 850g (all original)
    80 KZ 650F (needs restored)

Where should I advertise? I got directed to here because this seems to be the place to go for GS stuff. Should I post it with pictures on the sales/selling forum?

Yes, post pictures in the for sale section. Also state what year and model the system came off of. This forum is pretty active,.the word will get out. 👍

I'd put the price at $300-$350 + shipping unless it's dead perfect. And regarding shipping, it can get quite expensive unless you pack carefully. UPS is reasonably priced but you have to keep the package size below the "large" classification. I've shipped exhaust systems several times and was able to keep the size down below the limit.
