    VM carbs bench sync

    Hi Folks,

I've read the tutorial on how to rebuild, but note they it says that the slide should go all the way down to a fully closed position, 'or as much as the slide will go down'.

Here's a pic of how mine at their lowest point, is this ok?

    Thanks

    That's about it.

Now, look through them from the other side, while holding them up to a light.
Compare the amount of light coming through the opening at the bottom.

One other thing you might want to do before putting the carbs on the bike. Swap the bowls on #1 and #4.

Check your over travel screw too. The slides should lift to fully clear the bore but not higher.

The slide wide open tolerance is 1MM or less...but not to infringe on the venturi.
