Eastwood has a few paint products but then again so does Auto Zone. Ive wire wheeled hundreds of bodies and used the Dremel in all the small areas but they eventually dull again.MY BIKES..1977 GS 750 B, 1978 GS 1000 C (X2)

VM carb bodies are zinc. BS CV carb bodies are aluminum. Both use aluminum float bowls and tops.
The only way I've found to make them shinny is to glass bead blast. It's gotta be fresh bead, not crushed glass.Ed

Does it contain lead or some other substance?
How reactive is pure zinc? Not sure what this guy is polishing but it buffs up mirrorish

I think what Chuck was aiming for was a dip of some sort that will not only clean the carbs but leave them looking pretty shiney as well, with no elbow grease involved.
I have tried almost everything available on the market and there is nothing i have found that achieves this.
However i have developed a product that will clean them to a clinical standard, and leave them a nice satin finish, which i use on all the carbs i refurbish.1978 GS1085.
