    Dyna S timing cylinders 2-3 '80 GS1000G

How do you static time adjust the pickup for the 2-3 cylinders? There's no marking for the 2-3 Advance or Fire on this model.
Set 1-4 static timing with a test light super easy.
When it comes to 2-3, Dyna has adjustable pickups to dial them in, but there is no reference marks aside from the TDC.
Can I swap the Black and White wires from the coils, and use the 1-4 to set the opposing pickup?
They should be 180 degrees apart, right?

Just swapped the Black and White wires from the Dyna S Ignition to check the 2-3 coil for static timing.
Cylinders 1-4 have been static timed. 2-3 should be 180 degrees from that.
After swapping the wires, I marked the advancer plate with a fine sharpie for the 2-3 coil off of the 1-4 pickup.
Returned the B and W wires to the correct connections.
Checked the 2-3 pickup against the Sharpie marks.
Needed no adjustment to the 2-3 pickup.
That's great! And I may have lucked out.
I've searched through the GSR and the interwebs for a definitive answer on this topic. Didn't find anything useful.
Hope this is helpful for anybody in the same boat.
