Output Terminal?

    Output Terminal?

    What is this for exactly? I see that the diagram has a red wire going from the starter relay to this fused "Output Terminal," and ends in a + terminal point with a lone - terminal point that is a chassis ground... I don't understand the purpose of this.

    It's not needed, just an accessory point to hook up optional components needing 12v.

        As mentioned.. I connected my heated grips there, but take note if you use it. On my 1150 it's always hot (not switched with the ignition) and I drained my battery at least once when I left the heat on.

          I noticed that when I was looking at the wiring diagram. That's what had me a little confused.
