Boyer vs Dynatek ignition system? 1980 Suzuki GSX400

    Hey guys,

I’m trying to decide between Boyer and Dynatek ignition systems for my ’80 Suzuki GSX400E which has the stock points system with no igniter box and the condensers are attached to the coils. I could use some input. I’m in Canada, and the options I’m looking at are

    1. Boyer Kit00291 – comes with coils and ignition system for £195.84 (around $330 CAD).
    2. Dynatek DS3-3C – goes for $362.26 USD (about $490 CAD).

Is the Dynatek worth the extra $160? The boyer has the Ignition box i would have to mount somewhere.

    Thanks

Most here in the US use Dynatek for obvious reasons but Boyer stuff is reasonably well thought after in the UK - not sure for the GS application exactly but they've been around for a long time for sure.
I wouldn't have any real issue using the Boyer personally.

Just to give you another option... I know some have had success with these guys too. https://ignitech.cz/en/vyrobky
