    1977 GS750B electrical issues

    Hi,

    I'm new, be gentle!

I just got this bike, 2-23-2025

Previous original owner told me it was electrical, so I have attended YouTube University! Haha

Basically there are these components, correct?

    Stator
    Points
    Regulator
    Rectifier
    Coils
    Plug wires
    Spark plugs
    Ignition switch
    -all wiring

    Am I forgetting anything?

    Battery...

What might have happened. The rectifier quite, the battery died and the person parked it. No problem a easy fix. Do a search, you'll find out all about it.
    Good luck getting it running.

    Points? What are points grandpa?

condensors also. I would do the SH775 rectifier regulator swap and do away with the junk suzuki crap. Fully charge a new battery before using it. Gers the source for manuals and tutorials. Do your own carbs or if your not comfy with all that send them to me to be rebuilt. If youdecide to go at it you DO NOT need kits. Ally you need is a VM oring kit from NESSISM here and float bowl gaskets.

I would rather trust my bike to a "QUACK" that KNOWS how to fix it rather than a book worm that THINKS HE KNOWS how to fix it.

And youll see there is only 1 inline glass fuse. Do away with that and wire in a blade fuse holder. Solder all splices and use heat shrink tubing
