turn signal flasher
On my 85 GS700es the turn signal flasher went bad. It has 2 terminals on it and I swapped it out with the one from my car and the flashers worked again. The thing I was wondering is the harness connector has 3 terminals with the ground terminal not being used. What is the ground there for if the factory one didn't use it either?Tags: None

Hi,
If your bike had "auto-canceling" turn signals, that wire was from the control unit.
Thank you for your indulgence,

Hi,
I documented my turn signal relay replacement a while back. It might explain a thing or two...

Was your "ground" wire blue?
If so, it was definitely the control wire from the flasher controller. The flasher you took out was not from Suzuki.
