    Gauge Cluster-77-79 750..

Dunno if this really qualifies for this section, but there really wasnt one that it fit in to..

So anyway, after figuring out some carb issues on my 750B, I took her out for a little test spin. I must say, she's running particularly well now Lots of grunt and loves to rev..wait a second.. my tach isnt working... OH YEAH! I forgot, the tach cable was broken....speedo isnt working either Well...back to the barn to install the new cables Griffin brought me last he was out..

So I installed said tach cable...fired the bike up...nothin... I disconnected it from the gauges and fired the bike up, nothin...this thing was JUST working as I had to bump the motor around to get the thing lined up to stick in the gauges...what gives? It's broken! Brand new and already broke...whats up with that??

I'll tell you... the drives in the gauges are STUCK LIKE CHUCK.... so what does one do to fix this?? Ive never cracked a set open, so i dunno.. any advice??

put the plastic straw on the PB Blaster and spray it in nthere and let it sitm a few.. use the square bit to a drill that fits the square hole in the bottom of the guages and gently work the back and forth till they frre up.

I would rather trust my bike to a "QUACK" that KNOWS how to fix it rather than a book worm that THINKS HE KNOWS how to fix it.
