    Dead

My gs750 is dead. Battery is charged up, but nothing. One day it was working, lights coming on, turn signals working, and the next... nothing. The fuse is fine. Any ideas?

    Hi,

Try swapping the fuses anyway. Sometimes they can be bad even if they look good.

Are you getting nothing when you turn on the ignition? No lights on the instruments or anything? Check and clean all grounds, especially the big ground strap that goes from the negative battery terminal to the bottom of the engine case. Take off the tank, seat, side covers, etc, and check the wiring harness for shorts, burned wire, worn insulation, loose connectors, etc. Test the ignition switch.

    Thank you for your indulgence,

    BassCliff

Test the fuse to see if there is voltage on both side (without removing)

Mine did that the other day. The fuse was good. the fuse box where the fuse goes in got lose. I took the pointed end of the ice pick pointed tool and snugged up the fuse holder. Has not missed a lick since.

It seems suspect that after reinstalling the air box that this electirical problem would show up. The air box is a bear to wrestle back into place. Maybe I dislodged a wire running form the engine case to the battery. I'll check it out tomorrrow.
